CIPF Coverage

Integral is a member of the Canadian Investor Protection Fund (CIPF). CIPF provides you with up to $1 million in loss protection for each account of a specified type. Account types covered include your general account, registered account, spousal account, corporate account, and certain types of trust accounts. For example, if you hold three such accounts you will be eligible for loss coverage of $1 million per account, for a total of $3 million.

CIPF does not protect you from any decline in value of your accounts that results from a drop in the price of securities you own. CIPF coverage applies in the circumstance where you experience a shortfall in the value of your account(s) as a result of your investment dealer becoming bankrupt. The Royal Trust Co.

Integral, through Fidelity Clearing Canada, has their registered accounts shielded by The Royal Trust Co. Registered accounts are separately eligible for CIPF coverage.
